I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year. I hope 2007 will bring me some more time to make music and maybe even some time to make this a better blog.
Take care!

…hedgehogs!

This cute fellow visited us tonight. I was walking out from the bathroom when it made its way across the hallway. It hid under the staircase leading to the second floor. It took some engineering (moving furniture, shoes and misc stuff around) to get him to leave.

It’s that time of year again. Hay-fever time. When I was younger, I only used prescription drugs, but as I grew older, I found that the non-prescription ones worked just as well. This year I’ve been trying out a new pill, but I can’t tell the difference really. I’m “lucky” to only get hay-fever from birch pollen. I have friends who are allergic to grass and stuff like that.
Anyway, no new music. :( Since I released “A passing moment”, I’ve barely started my sequencer. Why, you ask? Well, I’ve been busy. With what? Ehm, I don’t know! Somehow I don’t get time to sit down and really be productive anymore.
Totally unrelated: I’m trying out the blogging client Ecto (available for Mac OS X and Windows). This post was written using it. So far I’m not sure why I would need a desktop client for writing my once a month posts. :) Nice program though.
Yaaaaaawn! I’ve been working since around 8am. Yesterday. You know how it is. Planned server maintenance at work. Everything looks fine until suddenly a very important server won’t boot up. 28 hours later, there you are. New server in place and all services restored. Zzzzzzzzz….
Christmas is only a few days away. Here in Sweden we celebrate on Christmas Eve, not Christmas Day. Anyway, music making has been non-existent for the last couple of months. However, I’ve renovated my kitchen from the ground up the last two and a half weeks. New floor, new ceiling, new cupboards, new oven, new microwave, new stove etc. I’m quite satisfied with the end result. There are some minor things left to do though. Hopefully I’ll get around to them during the holidays. Today was my last work day this year. I’m going back to work January 9.
Happy Holidays everyone!
