My previous theme was designed and coded by me. I’ve been sick and tired of that look for quite some time now, so today I decided to scrap it and install a downloaded theme. I really want to have a more personalized look but I just haven’t got the time. I have a couple of themes on the drawing board but I will probably never get around to finish them.
This theme was made by Bob and I think it’s quite nice, however maybe just a tad too minimalistic.

Yes, it’s true. For some reason, I got a rush of inspiration tonight and out came this song. Soft synths, relaxing beats. Perfect for a late night chillout session perhaps. Anyway, I’m so excited to finally get a tune out of the door again. It’s been far too long!
A problem of mine (regarding my "music career") has always been promotion. I’m not that comfortable with it. It’s hard to explain, so I won’t. Anyway, there are other places where I’m "promoting" my music. You can find these in the sidebar in the category "Dempa on the ‘net".
I’ve just upgraded to WordPress 2.3. It’s been out for over three weeks. This is how badly this site is run nowadays. :) On the music front; I’ve actally done some composing lately! Yes, you read that right. Of course, nothing ready for release just yet but keep your fingers crossed!
Oh yeah, I got me a new soundcard the other day (week). I’ve been using a crappy Soundblaster Live all these years, but with the kX drivers, you can actually get a decent latency (with decent I mean somewhere around 21ms, which is really bad but better than the default). Anyway, I bought a Delta Audiophile 2496. It’s a very popular card in the budget range and, in my opinion, best bang for the buck (atleast if you don’t need lots of ins and outs). It cost me 995 SEK (which is roughly 110 EUR) and now I’m experiencing a latency of 1ms. Not bad.
…is that I have nothing to write about. It’s 5 months since my last blog post. It’s over a year since my last song release. :( Now and then I take some time to listen to some of my own tracks. I really (really!) wish I could get my inspiration back. I want it to be fun to make music again. Is there some rehab camp for lazy, uninspired musicians that I should know about? :)
